Social causes - the socity of france were divided in 3 estates. 1st estates consists of clergy,2nd estates consists of nobles,and 3rd estate consists of big businessman,lawyers,peasants merchants.Only the third estate pay taxes and others estates were exempted from paying taxes
Economic causes-Due to sudden increase in population this led to rapid demand of food grains .And the prices of breads increases
Political cause -the id3as of freedom given by philosophers like Montesquieu,rousseau,john Locke.
