What is soft water and hard water? I know but I want u to know and answer this!

Hard water is water that contains an appreciable quantity of dissolved minerals . Hard water is formed when water percolates through deposits of limestone and chalk which are largely made up of calcium and magnesium carbonates.Soft water is treated water in which the only ion is sodium. As rainwater falls, it is naturally soft.

Anonymous: If added soap hard water usually does not make foam easily.You have to use a lot of soap to wash clothes.But soft water can easily make foam.
