  2. Alluvial soil
  3. Clay soil

  5. Lateriate soil
  6. Sandy soil

Black soil -:Black soil is a very fertile soil . It is most suitable soil for growing cotton . Its mostly found in west bengal , karnataka etc.

Alluvial soil - It is also known as red soil . It is of two types old alluvial and new alluvial . Old alluvial is very fertile to grow crops and new alluvial is not that much fertile for agriculture

Clay soil -: It is one of the most infertile soil. It is mostly used for making pots , toys etc

Sandy soil -: It is mostly present in desert which is very infertile in nature. Moisture content in this soil is also very low
