Soil conservation is the prevention of loss of the top most layer of the soil from erosion or prevention of reduced fertility caused by over usage, acidification, salinization or other chemical soil contamination.

Soil conservation is about safety of top layer of soil. It consists the prevention of top layer of soil from erosion, the prevention from losing fertility after chemical usage for eg. urea or other chemical fertilizers.
