What is soil conservation? Why do you think we should practice it seriously in the current scenario of soil degradation?

Soil conservation is the prevention of soil loss from erosion or reduced fertility caused by over usage, acidification, salinization or other chemical soil contamination.

Yes , According to me we have to conserve soil Because soil degradation cause  loss of organic matter, decline in soil fertility, decline in structural condition, erosion, adverse changes in salinity, acidity or alkalinity, and the effects of toxic chemicals, pollutants or excessive flooding.
