If human or any natural forces cause the cutting of tree or any other activity by which soil erosion happen so it causes many destruction.
Man cuts the tree for different purposes and natural calamity like drought or flood takes away the upper soil.
It can be conserve by doing terra farming in hilly area and doing farming in place where water is available.
Human activities such as deforestation leads to cutting of trees which causes soil erosion as roots binding the soil gets removed. And natural forces such as tsunami, tornado, high wind velocity and local water bodies cause gully erosion and sheet erosion which leads to removal of thin sheet of soil (in gully erosion by creating gullies and ravines).
Practices like strip cropping and terrace farming can be taken out to prevent soil erosion in hilly areas.
Hope it will help you!!!!
