Soil erosion occurs as there is nothing to hold the soil. Occurs due to deforestation[deforestation means cutting down of trees, opposite of afforestation(planting trees)].

  • Afforestation : Planting more and more trees, so that the roots of the plants will hold the soil and prevent from being eroded.
