Definition of soil pollution -

Soil pollution is the presence of toxic chemicals and a large number of waste materials in soil. Soil pollution means polluted land . The the waste products from home and industries is being dumped on a particular area of land for a long time it destroys the fertility of soil and makes the soil impure which hence , leads to soil pollution.

Disadvantages of soil pollution -

▪️On polluted soil many microorganisms take birth on the waste materials and spreads many of diseases around that area.

▪️ Insects such as houseflies feed upon them and when the sets on our food item it makes them dirty and unsuitable for too.

▪️It destroys the fertility of soil.

Causes of soil pollution -

▪️ Dumping of waste materials of our houses and industries.

▪️ Chemicals released by industries.

▪️Soil pollution also results in acid rain.

Steps to prevent soil pollution -

========================

▪️We should follow 3 R's i.e. Reduce , Reuse , Recycle

▪️ Limited use of chemicals in agriculture and industries.

▪️Cleaning of environment present around us at least twice a week.
