The solar system is a collection of star and some eight planets and their respective satellites. In our solar system, we have the Sun as our star and eight planets rotating and revolving around the Sun in their own fixed orbits. The name of the planets from the order of distance from the Sun are respectively : Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
