solenoid:---

A solenoid is a long coiled shape made up of conductor whose diameter is less then it's actual length .

For the production of electric current by the use of magnetic flux it is used .

when magnet is passes through solenoid the magnetic flux which cut the conductor produce electric current it depends on rate of by which magnetic flux strike .
