heyaaa !!!!⚠️
➡️A solenoid is just a coil of wire, but when you run a current through it, you create an electromagnet
➡️➡️
one end of the current carrrying solenoid acts like a north pole and the other end a south pole.so if a current carrying solenoid suspended frelly by tying a thread in the middle it will come to rest pointing n the north and south direction.(just like a frely suspended bar magnet.)

Heya !!!
Here's ur answer
A solenoid is a long coil of circular loops of insulated copper wire.
Magnetic field lines are produced around the solenoid when a current is allowed to flow through it. The magnetic field produced by it is similar to the magnetic field of a bar magnet.Hence, one end of the solenoid behaves as a north pole and the other endbehaves as a south pole.
Hope it helps:)
