Solenoid :

A solenoid is a long coil made up of insulated copper wire  having large number of closed turns. The magnetic field lines around a solenoid are same to that of a bar magnet.

The filed lines inside solenoid are parallel to each other which indicates that the magnetic field inside the solenoid is same at every point.

Factors effection it's strength :

• The amount of current flowing through the coil.

• The number of turns in the coil effects it's strength.

• Inserting a soft iron ore inside solenoid to produce strongest magnetism.
