what is solid? explain with two examples

Solid is a state of matter in which it's molecules are tightly packed (their intermolecular space is very less)and the force of attraction between the particles of solid is very greater when compared to solid and liquid.

there are two types of solid

(1) crystalline

example :-

Nacl , kcl , diamond

(2) Amorphous ..

plastic , rubber , polymer
