Answer:

the above are the 3 states of matter

Solid is the state in which matter maintains a fixed volume and shape;

liquid is the state in which matter adapts to the shape of its container but varies only slightly in volume;

and gas is the state in which matter expands to occupy the volume and shape of its container

\fbox\colorbox{pink}{Solid}

• A solid is the state of matter with fixed shape and volume.

• Particles are close-packed so they can vibrate, but not flow.

• Solids are rigid.

• They cannot be compressed easily.

\fbox\colorbox{skyblue}{Liquid}

• A most fluid and ever changing state of water.

• It does not have a definite shape.

• It has a definite mass and volume.

• A liquid will always take up the same amount of space and take the shape of its container.

\fbox\colorbox{grey}{Gas}

• Gases can be lighter or heavier or about the same density as air.

• Gases can have colour or be colourless.

• Gases have quick Movement in random direction.
