Solid wastes are the wastes that comes from industries, hospitals, houses, etc.

The solid wastes that is obtained from municipality are paper, rubber, leather, glass, plastics, etc. Wastes like scraps, fly ash, are generated from the industries.

We can manage the solid wastes by :

1. Burning the wastes in open dumps.

2. The biodegradable wastes should be separated and dumped into the deep pits so that they are degraded naturally.

3. Also the solid waste materials should be given to the kabadiwalas or the rag pickers.
