It is a process when vapour on cooling changes directly into a solid without first changing into liquid.This process is known as solidification.

Solidification also known as freezing, is a phase change of matter that results in the production of solid .Generally this occurs when the temperature of a liquid is lowered below its freezing point.

In other words the process where the liquid converts into solid is called solidification or freezing.
