Answer:

A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances in any ratio.

A solution is dilute when solvent that is water in most cases is more, concentrated when solute is more and saturated when no more solute can be added at normal temperature and pressure.

HEY MATE...

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER....

A HOMOGENEOUS MIXTURE OF TWO OR MORE CHEMICALLY NON-REACTING SUBSTANCE IS CALLED SOLUTION.
EXAMPLES... LEMONADE IS A SOLUTION OF SUGAR , SALT, LEMON JUICE IN WATER.

THERE ARE TWO COMPONENTS......
1. SOLUTE
2. SOLVENT.

DILUTE and CONCENTRATED IS A QUALITATIVE AND COMPARATIVE TERMS.
FOR EX.... LET US PREPARE TWO SOLUTION OF COPPER SULPHATE IN 100ML OF WATER AND SOLUTION B IS PREPARED BY DISSOLVING 5-6 CRYSTALS OF COPPER SULPHATE IN 100ML OF WATER. WE OBSERVE THAT SOLUTION A HAS LIGHT BLUE COLOUR WHILE SOLUTION B HAS DARK BLUE COLOUR. SINCE SOLUTION A HAS LOWER AMOUNT OF COPPER SULPHATE AS COMPARED TO SOLUTION B. THEREFORE, IT CAN BE SAID THAT SOLUTION A IS DILUTE AND SOLUTION B IS CONCENTRATED.

A SOLUTION IN WHICH NO MORE SOLUTE CAN BE DISSOLVED AT A GIVEN TEMPERATURE IS CALLED A SATURATED SOLUTION.
