In context to questions asked,

we have to define the term Solution and solute.

As we know that,

Solutions is homogeneous mixture of two or more than two numbers of elements or molecules or components.

The basic example of solutions is - solutions of sugar and water, in which we add sugar in water.

*NOTE* when we prepared any solution then the obtained solutions will always be in single phase.

While solute is that particular substance which are dissolved in the solvent.

Let us understand with an example-

If we take an example of solutions of sugar and water.

here sugar is dissolved in water so the matter which is dissolved i.e. sugar will be considered as solute while the matter in which the solute is dissolved i.e. water will be considered as solvent.
