Sound is a disturbance.Every wave is a disturbance.Sound disturbance/wave is the disturbance which causes hearing sensation in our eardrums.

★ Sound:

Sound like light, is a form of energy that can travel from one place to other. Our ears can detect this energy; that is one way that we can find out what is going around us. Sounds come from traffic, machines etc...........

Some sound are pleasant, others are nuisance and some are dagerous too.

★ How Sounds are made?

Sounds are made when something vibrates. All musicall instruments have a part that vibrates.

★ Did you know?

The sound from a bongo drum can be changed. When the player sequeezes the drum between his knees , cords tighten the drum skin and it plays a tight note.
