sound is a type of wave that is generated by a vibrating object . sound can travel through a medium . the sound waves that are below 20 hertz of frequency are infrasonic waves and cannot be heard by the human ear.

sound is something that you hear or that can be heard
sound is produced by Rapid to and fro movement scold vibrations
the sound with frequency to below 20 hertz is called infrasonic sound
the sound with frequency more than 20000 hertz is called ultrasonic sound
