sound is a vibration that typically propagates as an audible wave of pressure, through a transmission medium such as a gas, liquid or solid. Sound is a type of energy made by vibrations. When any object vibrates, it causes movement in the air particles. These particles bump into the particles close to them, which makes them vibrate too causing them to bump into more air particles. This movement, called sound waves, keeps going until they run out of energy.Sound is created by vibrations in the air. For example, if you hit a drum, you see the drum skin move. As a result small changes in air pressure are created.

SOUND
sound is like of shaking.
we can heard its that time
Which is transmitted through a solid, liquid or gas.
we can say only thats is sound which is we can heard by our ears.
lets see one another way to understand it '""defination of the sound ''":"
If the sound in which the sound is transmitted, its particles vibrate in the direction of the motion of the sound, then it is called lunar wave; When the vibration of the medium particles is perpendicular to the direction of the motion of the sound, then it is called the transverse wave. ... many other animals can hear the waves of much more frequency than this.
