Sound is a vibration that typically propagates as an audible wave of pressure, through a transmission medium such as a solid,liquid or gas. In human physiology sound is the reception of such waves and their perception by the brain.

  • (ii) Audiable Waves The sound waves of frequency lies between 20 Hz to 20000 Hz are called audiable waves.
