In physics, sound is a vibration that typically propagates as an audible wave of pressure, through a transmission medium such as a gas, liquid or solid. ... Humans can only hear sound waves as distinct pitches when the frequency lies between about 20 Hz and 20 kHz

Hey there!
Sound is defined as vibrations that travel through air or another medium and can be heard when they can reach when they reach a person's or animal's ear.

We can't imagine a world without sound because it plays a important and vital role in our lives. We are surrounded in a sea of sound.Without sound, the world would loose it's beauty. It would be a dangerous place, and in one which has communication would be difficult and cumbersome.

Hope it helps u!!
