♠ ANSWER :

❇ Lattice point represents the constituent particles which may be atoms, ions, or molecules and it is represented by dot ( • ). When lattice points are joined together with the help of a straight line, then it forms unit cell and by the repetition of unit cell along different directions CRYSTAL LATTICE is formed.

The smallest part of the crystal lattice which is repeated over and over again in all directions to form crystal lattice is known as UNIT CELL.

The three dimensional structure formed by the repetition of unit cell along different directions is known as CRYSTAL LATTICE.

This led to the concept of space lattice or crystal lattice. “A space lattice is an array of points showing how particles (atoms, ions or molecules) are arranged at different sites in three dimensional spaces.”
