Here is ur answer ji
In Einstein's geometric theory of gravity, the situation is described in a completely different way : A mass that we place in an region of space will lead a distortion of space time.
Empty space time is flat - it looks exactly like the space time of special relativity.
Space time in the presence of masses is curved.
Hope it helps you out ji

according to Einstein's theory of Relativity, the universe in woven in a fabric of space and time. this fabric is kind of flexible, and van be bent by (strong) gravity. this curvature of the space-time continuum by gravity is called space-time curvature, which leads to cool things like blank holes, bending of the paths of light and stuff.
