Space wave propagation - The radio waves which can travel within 20 km in the atmosphere ie., troposphere . It is comprises of direct and reflected waves.  Space wave propagation is also known as tropospheric propagation as they travel from earth surface to troposphere and back to the earth surface . All the electromagnetic spectrum , radio waves  are the most extensively used in our daily life , commonly called as Space waves.

Properties of space wave propagation -

  • They travel directly through the antenna.
  • They are used in microwaves ovens and radar technology .
