Alluvial soil is those which are formed as a result of deposition of sediments by rivers. Alluvial soil is less in nitrogen and phosphorus but rich in potash. Alluvial soil is which has been built up from uphill soil particles eroded down by wind and rain water run off and carried downstream by river flow.
