what is special about the leaves that they can synthesise food but the other parts cannot is there any exceptions class 7 please. tell about cactus also

The leaves have a green pigment called chlorophyll which helps to live to capture the energy of the sunlight and to synthesis food other parts of the plant to not have chlorophyll therefore they are unable to synthesise food
