SPECIATION IS THE PROCESS IN WHICH WE CAN KNOWN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ONE SPECIES FROM THE OTHER SPECIES,

THE FOUR MAJOR FACTORS ARE:

1) NATURAL SELECTION

2) MUTATION

Formation of new species is what is known as speciation

Factors responsible for speciation are as follows:

(1)Geographical isolation: Geographical barriers such as mountains or rivers separates a population.

(2) Genetic drift: flow of genes from one population to another.

(3) Mutation: sudden changes in the genes.

(4)Natural selection: nature selects the best so that the population can fit their environment better.

(5) Reproductive isolation: Geographical isolation leads to Reproductive isolation where one population is not allowed to breed with the other

(6) Variation: errors in DNA copying

Hope it helps! :)
