The conductance of material is the property of materials due to which a material allows the flow of ions through itself and thus conducts electricity. It is generally defined as the reciprocal of resistance of that material. SI unit of conductance is S (Siemens).

Specific Conductance (SC) is a measure of how well water can conduct an electrical current. Conductivity increases with increasing amount and mobility of ions. These ions, which come from the breakdown of compounds, conduct electricity because they are negatively or positively charged when dissolved in water.

Molar conductivity is defined as the conductivity of an electrolyte solution divided by the molar concentration of electrolyte.

nikhil7847: thanks
nikhil7847: Thora short karo
kritiku2005: If you want, you can make the specific conductance a bit smaller
nikhil7847: hii
