Answer:

Speed

  1. The distance traveled by a body followed by the distance is known as speed
  2. It has a magnitude
  3. It is a vector quantity
  4. It's units are meter/sec and km/hr

Velocity

  1. The distance traveled by a body followed by the displacement is know Velocity
  2. The magnitude may be zero.
  3. It is a scalar quantity.
  4. It's units are meter/sec and km/hr.

Hope it helps you, if does please give some rating it may be 1 or 5

Speed is defined as the total distance covered in an interval of time. Often denoted by the letter "v". It cannot be negative.

Formula for calculating speed is, speed=

\frac{distance}{time}

To calculate average speed, divide the total distance by total time taken.

When speed is defined with a direction it is called velocity. Unlike speed, velocity can be negative. Like speed, it is often denoted by the letter "v".

Velocity=

\frac{displacement}{time}

Average velocity for an accelerating object is given by:

\frac{v-u}{t}

where, v is the final velocity of the object, u is the initial velocity of the object and t is the time taken.
