"Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum." "Light in a vacuum always travels at the same speed." Those additional three words in a vacuum are very important.

Light travels fastest in the vaccum with the speed of 3 × 10^8 m/s.
It's speed decreases partially in the air.

adityajha123: What is it's speed in air?
Rahul1905: 299792458 m/s
Rahul1905: it's only a little bit less
adityajha123: Thanx
Rahul1905: your welcome
