• It is a scalar quantity.

• Its S.I. unit is m/s.

• Some other common unuts of speed are km/hr.

There are two types of speed :-

Uniform Speed :- If the body travel equal distance in equal interval of time

Non uniform Speed :- If the body travel unequal distance in equal interval of time.
