Glycerol (propan-1, 2, 3-triol) is an important by-product of soapmanufacture. It is found dissolved in the soap lye and as impurity in the crude soap when fats and oils are saponified by caustic soda1-3. this is spent-lye in soap industry.

riyakadam174: pls. mark it as brainliest.
