the process of male gamete formation including formation of a spermatocyte from a spermatogonium, meiotic division of the spermatocyte, and transformation of the four resulting spermatids into spermatozoa.

Explanation:

Spermatogenesis is the process of sperms from the immature germ cells in males .It takes palace in seminiferous tubules present inside thetestes.

During spermatogenesis,a diploid spermatogenesis (male germ cell ) increases its size to form a diploid primary spermatocyle . This diploid primary spermatocyte undergoes first meiatic division (meiosis 1) which is a reduction division to from two equal haloid secondary spermatocyte .Each secondary spermatocyte them undergoes second meiotic division(meiosis ll) to form two equal haploid spermatids.

Hence ,a diploid spermatozoa (sperm) by the process called spermatogenesis .
