Spinning: The cotton fibres obtained from the process of ginning are spun into yarns. The process of formation of yarns from cotton fibres is called spinning.

Ginning: After harvesting the cotton is deseeded. The process of removing Cotton seeds from cotton fibre is called Ginning.
