☘️ Difference between Bus Topology and star topology.

Bus topology :-

● In Bus topology there is central cable which joins all the computers in the system. This cable is known as backbone of network.

● Data is transmitted in one direction only in bus topology.

● One computer is worked as a server, that provides data to all clients.

● This topology is used in small networks where cable requirement is small.

● If the main cable fails ,the entire network becomes unstable.

● Bus topology is also known as linear topology.

Star topology :-

● In this type of network, each device is connected to a central computer ( server) using point to point connection.

● The central computer acts as a hub .

● Star topology startup cost is low .

● If any one connection in the network fails, ghe other connections remain in act .

● If the central hub fails ,the entire network goes down.
