Stereo isomerism are those molecules which have same molecular formula but differ in the three dimensional orientation in space.

sigma and pi bonds do not change... the connections///bonds remain same. Stereo isomerism is only geometric.. That means, only bond angles will change.
if u take a wire mesh, you can bend wire at each junction, but they are all joined at the junctions. same way.

Stereoisomerism is the arrangement of atoms in molecules whose connectivity remains the same but their arrangement in space is different in each isomer.
