=> What is Stomata ?

Stomata ste microscopic pores surrounded by two kidney shapes guard cells.


=> Functions of Stomata

• Uptake of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere required for the process of photosynthesis.

• Release of Oxygen into the atmosphhere which is formed as a byproduct during the process of photosynthesis.

• It helps in the transpiration of water, i.e., the loss of excess water from the plant.
