String theory is theoritical frame work in which the point-like particles of particle physics are placed by one dimensional objects called strings. It describeshow these strings propagate through spaceand intrect with each other. string theory is a theory of quantum gravity.

String theory is a theory in which a small particle which is of 1 dimensional is present. Sting theory is also called everythings theory.String is the only a particle which is of 1 dimensional because as we know that atom is the smallest particle but if see it carefully if would be also of 3 dimensional and if it is separated we will get electrons, protons and neutrons which also be 3 dimensional and again if you separate it you will get quacks but it is also again of 3 dimensional but again you separate if you will get string which is only of 1 dimensional as I said it at first and string is the only thing which can travel in all 10 dimensions and string theory is based on this only.
