stromal is the supportive tissue of an epithelial organ, tumour, gonad, etc., consisting of connective tissues and blood vessels.

thylakoids are each of a number of flattened sacs inside a chloroplast, bounded by pigmented membranes on which the light reactions of photosynthesis take place, and arranged in stacks or grana.

granum is singular form of grana.

Chloroplasts are organelles found in plant cells and eukaryotic algae that conduct photosynthesis. Chloroplasts absorb sunlight and use it in conjunction with water and carbon dioxide gas to produce food for the plant.
