The French society was divided into three estates namely:
FIRST ESTATE-it comprised of churches and clergy and they did'nt paid any tax.
SECOND ESTATE-it comprised of aristocrats,landlords and noble men.They also did'nt paid any tax.
THIRD ESTATE-it comprised of all the people of France who did not had political rights like peasants,workers and middle class people.Unlike first and second estates they paid all the taxes.
