Answer:

A style is a predefined combination of font style, color, and size that can be applied to any text in your document. Styles can help your documents achieve a more professional look and feel. You can also use styles to quickly change several things in your document at the same time.

Click in a paragraph, or select all or part of the paragraphs to which you want to apply the style.

Do one of the following: Click the paragraph style name in the Paragraph Styles panel. ...

If any unwanted formatting remains in the text, choose Clear Overrides from the Paragraph Styles panel.

Explanation:

  • A style can be defined as a collection of formatting characteristics where we can apply in a single step to an element of an entire document.
  • There are several types of styles namely paragraph style, character style, table style and list style.
  • In order to apply style we have to go on Home tab ribbon, select styles in Styles group and we can click the desirable style. In other way, we can press Alt + Ctrl + Shift + S to open the style pane.
  • We can also insert a style separator and combined it with next paragraph. Thus it will hide the paragraph break.
