A way to solve a linear system algebraically is to use the substitution method. The substitution method functions by substituting the one y-value with the other.

example.

We can substitute y in the second equation with the first equation since y = y

Substitution Method:-

In this method, if there are two variables in an equation and 1 variable is depends on other variable then we can use this method...

Eg:-

4x + 3y = 12___(1)

6x + 5y = 10___(2)

Take eq(1)

4x + 3y = 12

x = (12-3y) /4

Substitute this value in equation (2), you will get values of both the variables.
