Sulfide ore refers to the  chemical compounds which contain sulfur in lower oxidation number that is -2.It is an important resource for production of Ni,Co,CU,Zn,Pb,Mo,Bi,Sb and Hg.It also include non metal like quartz and calcite and may contain  barite and micaceous.
there are Complex sulfide ore and Simple complex ore.


Metal oxide is the metallic compound which are formed with metal and oxygen in the form of oxide ion (o^2-)
e.g. Na2O=sodium(i)oxide
