We use the formula sum = N(A+L)/2
Where N = Number of terms = 1000
A = First terms = 1 ; L.= Last term = 1000
= 1000(1000+1)/2
= 1000(1001)/2
= 1001000/2
= 500500.
Therefore the sum of natural numbers from 1 to 1000 is '500500'.
