Answer:
In this poem the poet explained the opinions of the people that how the world would end. He says that world will end some day whether it will end by fire or ice because people have two conflicting notions that the world will finish by fire or ice. He says that the he would support the people who would say that fire will be the cause of the destruction of the world.
But after a few moments, his thoughts changed. He says that if the world will have to finish twice, he thinks there are lots of hatred among the people. So ice would be too good for the destruction of the world because it will make us frozen so that our soul would die comfortably.
