The tag defines superscript text.Superscript text appears half a character above the normal line, and is sometimes rendered in a smaller font. Superscript text can be used for footnotes, like WWW. Tip: Use the  tag to define subscript textyour

Hey

You must have noticed two kind of texts

like as ( a + b ) ² and H↓2O

In one case , 2 is superscript and in other case 2 is subscript .

Now ,

In HTML documents , how it will be done ?

Ummm ....For doing Superscript in HTML , we use < SUP > tag

And ,

For doing subscript , we use

 tag

thanks :)
