✌❤✔Superposition of Waves✔❤✌

  • ✌❤Two or more progressive waves can travel simultaneously in the medium without effecting the motion of one another.❤✌

  • ✌❤ Therefore, resultant displacement of each particle of the medium at any instant is equal to vector sum of the displacements produced by two waves separately. ❤✌

  • ✌❤This principle is called principle of superposition.❤✌

When crest of one wave incident at a point , at the same instant , the crest of another wave incident at the same point...

We say two waves superimposed each other and this phenomena of waves is called superposition...

This may also happen when crest of one wave and trough of another incident at a point simultaneously, This phenomena is also called super position...
