hola twinkle........here is your answer....
in simple words , the magnetic susceptibility is the property of the substance which determines how easily that substance can be magnetized......
**. the total amount of magnetization AQUIRED BY a SUBSTANCE when placed in a magnetic field is called it's ®intensity of magnetization®.... (i)
** similarly the total extent to which a MAGNETIC FIELD can magnetize a substance is ® magnetic intensity ®........(H)
and the ratio of this " intensity of magnetization " of substance , to the "magnetic intensity " of the field is called susceptibility. (X)
[ X = i / H ]
∆ magnetic permeability is the total extent to which magnetic lines of force can enter a substance when placed in a magnetic field.....
in simple words , the property of a medium to permit the magnetic Lines of force to pass through any substance is called permeability of that medium.....
hope u understood ^_^
